What this festival is about...

A long time ago God gave his ancient people a litrugical calendar, which included annual high days of worship and celebration. Like these old testament scriptures, today these festivals have their meaning and expression in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Feast of Tabernacles is a celebration in the sojourn and life of Jesus Christ here on earth, as well as his awesome promises of the Kingdom of God.

Our local Perth Church of God congregation annually gather for eight days - simply to put God first in our lives. Each day consists of a time of worship and celebration including songs, prayers and inspiring messages. The afternoons and evenings are spent in fellowship, dining, boating, picnics, seniors, family and youth activities.

It is truly an annual time of celebration and rejuvenation.
